Happy 2nd Birthday Evan!!!

This morning, Evan woke up and immediately said "Happy Birthday!" and then wanted a cupcake from the batch we are bringing into his school today! Mommy gave in and he had a cupcake for breakfast! Yummy! Evan has his 2 yr. checkup this morning then he is off to school for a bit to have a party there. His big party is tomorrow!

Childhood Pastime

RICHIES CLASSIC ITALIAN SLUSH!!!!

Mommy had this once or twice a week as a kid. Her dad would bring the kids to the local convenience store to get a slush all the time. She loves it so much that she went to the website and figured out that a local pizza place in Epping sells it! We have been a few times since we found out and today, mommy and Evan took a break from the heat to enjoy the icy goodness! Evan ate the rest of his at home! Yummy!!

New Pool!

Today, mommy got Evan a new pool on the way to pick him up from school. A plastic pool is better than the old one we had because we can clean it easier. Evan was so excited when he saw it in the car when he got in. He ate his dinner quick and was ready to play in it after!

Beautiful Sunday!

Yet, another fun filled time at the beach...this time daddy could enjoy it as well as Katie, Jeremy, and Nathan!! This morning, mommy and daddy woke up and went to Miss Jody's house to visit baby Shailagh....then back to nap and then off to the beach with everyone! After that, we went home to enjoy daddy's new strawberry beer he brewed (obviously adults only!) and homemade BBQ chicken pizza on the grill! Yummy!!

Sneak Peak!

Cara gave us a sneak peak of the pics she took of us the other day at Winnekenni Castle. She will have the rest done tomorrow!! Here is a taste of her awesome pics!!

Loving to Cook

Evan has been in the phase of cooking for mommy and daddy. He loves to run out to the kitchen and make us "cancakes" (pancakes), "oomeal" (oatmeal), and "waffles" with "sypup" (syrup). He comes up to us and says "Here you go mommy and daddy" and feeds us. Then we tell him we want something and he says "Ok" and runs to the kitchen to cook up something else. He runs back and feeds us again and says "I want some cancakes too!" He is also talking like crazy now! 5-6 word sentences! He amazes us more and more everyday!

Another Peaceful Moment at the Beach

After a great morning that started with a great family photo shoot at Winnekenni Castle in Haverhill (pics to come soon!!!), mommy, daddy, and Evan went to lunch then daddy went off to work and Evan napped followed by an afternoon visit to the beach! Mommy and Evan love to go there alone and pass the time until daddy gets home. We enjoyed sitting close to the water today and letting the water come right up to our feet. We also enjoyed playing in the sand and watching the seagulls! Evan was still talking about the seagulls and the ocean when he went to bed tonight! What a great day!

Good Day for a Swim

Evan and mommy took Cody down to the Lamprey River for a swim today. Evan helped mommy throw the ball in the water for him and then enjoyed throwing rocks into the river too!

Family Kayaking

Today we went kayaking in town and took Cody along with us. It was quite the adventure to say the least! Cody is very tired now!

Riverfront Festival

Today we ventured to Newburyport, MA to the Riverfront Festival. It was a free concert on the water with lots of yummy food and vendors. We met up with grandma, grandma Joyce, Katie, and Nathan! The boys enjoyed Richie's Famous Slush and danced to the live music on the boat docks! After some fun at the festival, we made our way to the Grog to get some good food and dessert...and of course, beers for the adults!! The kids enjoyed their ice cream too! Evan passed out on the way home! It was a great day!
