A year later......

.........and Evan is STILL very interested in fire trucks/fire stations/firemen. We are lucky enough that the fire pond is directly behind our house so when they come to use it, we walk right out and sit on the grass to watch them! What a nice rainbow we saw from the water against the sun!

After, Evan just had to dress up in his fireman gear to top off a great night!

We love LL Bean!

Today we ventured up to Freeport, ME to the biggest LL Bean store. We have been once before but just wanted to take a ride today. We ended up with a nice new collar for Cody and a training collar for him as well! Evan enjoyed looking at the fish the most! Such a cool place!

We also stopped in at Carters and spotted a fireman raincoat on sale for Evan. Even though it was 85 degrees when we got home, he wanted to wear it anyways! He also has matching fireman rain boots he has had for a while. Such a great find!

Barrington Park

Today we went to the park with Andrea & Liv in Barrington. It was a nice day for it with limited sun beating down on us. Afterwards, we went to The Christmas Dove to let the kids look around and then to the bakery for a cookie treat! Yum!

Quick Visit

One of mommy's best friends, Charlotte is in Boston until Tue for her job (she works for Texas Play Hard) which is a private lacrosse team in Texas. They are here touring schools and having games. We had the opportunity to meet up with her at Margaritas in Waltham, MA last night to say hi. It has been 2 years since we have seen her when we flew out to Austin with Evan so mommy could be in her wedding! We were so happy to see her even if it was just for a couple hours! She was so nice and brought a couple gifts for Lizzie! Here are pics of the cute fleece jacket & vest "fit for NH kids" as she put it!

Thanks Charlotte!! We can't wait to come back to Austin to see you again!

Today we went to Pawtuckaway State Park again. We took Katie and Nathan along with us and met up with Andrea & Liv there too! We had a blast.

Baby Lizzie Update

Well...the 30 week mark has arrived. Mommy is finally on a little bit of a "leave" from the childcare center. Today started her time where she is not in the classroom anymore and has more free time to spend with Evan & for herself putting her feet up and resting before Baby Elizabeth arrives! Could it be 8 weeks from now? That is when Evan was born! Wishful thinking! Mommy really wants that to happen! We still haven't made room for new baby yet. Kind of a last minute thing I guess. Mommy hasn't even bought many things either! I think she is still in denial it is a girl! LOL. The summer heat is taking a toll on mommy's pregnant body but she is hanging in there. Second pregnancies are much harder...especially with a 3 yr old in tow! Today, mommy had her 3 hr. glucose test because she failed the 1 hr. test. We shall hear back tomorrow whether she has gestational diabetes or not but since she had it with Evan...she is used to the diet. Elizabeth is moving all around all day long.....keeping mommy awake a lot at night. So much for getting any rest before baby is born! However....we see lots of naps in the future! On a different note, Evan is in preschool now! Yay! He just made the official transition to the preschool room at Bright Start today. So far without mommy there all the time, he is behaving like an angel! Little monkey! Well...that is it for now. Come back and stay tuned for more updates!

4th of July Weekend

To beat the heat, along with the kiddie pool we have a new Buzz Light Year sprinkler that Evan enjoyed. At the cookout here on Sunday, all of the boys enjoyed it as well. Mom wasn't so good at snapping pics this weekend.....

Saturday night we went into Portsmouth and bumped into the Warren Family. Auntie Katie, Jeremy, and Nate came along too. The kids had a blast and were very excited to see the colors in the sky!

Pawtuckaway State Park

Today we went to Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham today for the first time. We went along with Andrea & Olivia. The kids really had tons of fun in the water, on the playground, and playing in the sand. Evan was not so afraid of the water here after watching Liv. He even used one of her tubes and floated around in the water! We can't wait to go back!
