New gadget

Mommy used her Christmas and past birthday money to buy a new camera. It will be a while to learn to use it but it takes beautiful pictures!

Interesting Christmas 2010

Christmas 2010 was an interesting one to say the least. Christmas Eve we headed out to Lorna's house to spend time with daddy's side of the family. Elizabeth was very fussy but turns out she had a reason to be.......

Santa certainly came to our house this year!!
He even left a note for Evan!
Here is Evan's reaction to seeing the presents under the tree...

Elizabeth was under the weather but enjoying watching her brother open gifts...she was all comfy in her winter jammies

Taking a little snoozer...

So...we got all dressed up for Christmas day festivities....but things took a turn for the worst...

Evan ended up coming down with the stomach bug before opening up gifts. He made it through the present opening but spent the rest of the day in bed....daddy by his side. Family went home early as know one wanted the germs.
We have Lizzie here also sick and feeling more sick as the day goes on......mommy ended up taking her to the ER Christmas night as she was extremely irritable and non consolable. Her breathing was funny and she was all around miserable. After motrin, being prodded by doctors and nurses, and a chest x-ray...turns out she has pneumonia. After a very long 24 hours of constant crying and hardly any sleep...she is feeling a bit better today (Dec 27th). Evan is also free from the stomach bug.
We also got a "blizzard" the day after Christmas. We didn't get as much snow as they thought but it was also nice for Evan and daddy to play in the snow!

Zoo Lights

Last night, Katie, Nathan, mommy, and Evan took a trip down to the Stone Zoo in MA to see the Zoo Lights! It was really fun! After sitting in a lot of traffic to get in, we made our way into the zoo and met Santa! Then the boys took a train ride and saw some animals. There were lots of Christmas lights and exhibits to see. The boys then had their first hot chocolate and saw a reindeer! They ended the night with a ride on the carousel.

Sweets!

Today was all about the sweets! Evan, daddy, and mommy worked on a gingerbread house together. Then later on we made sugar cookies and frosted them. Yum!

Here is Elizabeth watching the action...

"Night Night parade"

Last night we went to the "night night parade" as Evan calls it...also known as the Exeter Holiday parade and it is at night in the dark. This was our 4th time going to it! We had the whole family come along and we met up with the Warren family too! Evan even saw his teacher, Miss Vickie there as well!

Here is Evan all bundled up to stand in the cold!

Jacob bundled up too!
