Evan the Artist!

Evan had an experience with finger paints today! He was all about arts and crafts today with coloring with crayons, markers, working with play dough, then finger painting!

Panet Playground

What a beautiful morning! Evan and mommy headed out to the park...haven't been to that one since last summer so it was nice to see Evan in action a year older! He did great!

New Pics of Jake!

Baby Jacob along with his mommy and daddy came to visit today and had some dinner with us! Evan had a lot of fun helping to feed him and showing him his baby toys from when he was an infant! Jake is growing so fast with a great personality!

Checking out the waves!

Hurricane Bill certainly had an effect on the ocean this weekend! This morning, after having breakfast at the Big Bean....we ventured out to the beach to check out the awesome waves that were very big from the hurricane! There were so many people there and a lot of surfers catching great waves!

Look who I found...

I found Evan in the hallway in the laundry basket this morning reading one of his favorite books..."Naptime" while I was in my bedroom. I heard him saying "Naptime...nooo playtime!" which is the words on the first page of the book. I guess reading on his bed wasn't good enough!

Captain Underpants!

Evan's cousin Nathan was over last weekend and he has been doing a great job potty training. Mommy hasn't been really pushing the issue but Evan has been peeing and pooping on the potty from time to time. We decided to put his own pair of underwear on for a while when we were hanging around the house with Nathan and Katie. It was too adorable not to show!

2 is oh so much fun!

Picnic Dinner in the Park

Today, mommy and Evan surprised daddy when he got out of work with a picnic basket! He has been having a rough time at work lately and we wanted to cheer him up! He got dressed in better clothes and we headed to Winnekinni Castle to have a picnic dinner....of course mommy snuck in daddy's brewed strawberry beer and we ended the night with Evan enjoying the playground!

A HUGE Milestone in the Deloge Household!

EVAN IS IN A BIG BOY BED!!!! Daddy and mommy are in shock and disbelief but it has happened! We took down the crib tonight and put up the full size bed! We decided to skip the toddler bed and move right to the full size bed as Evan really loves our bed. Evan was a part of the process by helping daddy convert the bed and all. We have been talking to him about this all week. The best part......we JUST put him to bed 20 min. or so ago...and he is sleeping! Now...keep your fingers crossed he stays asleep!!!

Making Daddy Proud!

Uncle Joe bought Evan this t-ball set and we have yet to use it until now! Evan had so much fun with it and did a great job hitting the ball on his own! Way to make his daddy proud!

Another Ear Piercing Haircut!!

Sure, the pics look like he is happy now...but during the haircut....not so much! Evan is so scared of the clippers and just the scissors are not doing the trick anymore. Mommy had to use the clippers anyways today, regardless of the screaming Evan did! Eventually he calmed down a bit and squeezed mommy tight and buried his head in her belly....but we got the job done....not even a lollipop could make him happy this time! Until next time folks.....

I love my daddy!

Daddy was putting together the train table tonight (well he was trying to!) and Evan was all over him giving him kisses and saying "daddy look at me!" while grabbing his face haha. It was so cute!
