Evan gets very excited when I pick him up from school Tue nights and we talk about Wed being mommy/Evan day...well last night he was in for a surprise when I told him it was mommy/daddy/Evan day! Daddy took today off to spend time with us! First, we went to Yorks Wild Kingdom. We saw so many great animals. Evan was very into it and got to feed the goats and the deer. He especially liked the monkeys! We have been talking about going to the zoo for quite some time now! After this visit, we will be sure to go to some other zoos in the future...maybe a trip to Clarks Trading Post in the fall! Next, we went to eat in Portsmouth at the Muddy River Smokehouse. We asked Evan what he wanted to eat and he said, "hot dog and french fries" so that is what he munched on! We then went to visit the Old Stove Bake Shoppe that Debbie works at....Evan picked a vanilla cupcake and enjoyed that very much! Mommy will enjoy her peanut butter cup one later and Daddy will enjoy his s'mores one too! Finally, we visited UNH so mommy and daddy could go on campus to Hayden Sports to buy new UNH sweatshirts since they did not have one. It was funny to be on campus almost 10 years older than the freshmen there!! Too many memories! What a great day! Now it is onto a great weekend in Maine this weekend with our neighbors and lots of friends! Stay tuned for those pics!
