Blue Angels

Yesterday we went to Adam's Point in Durham to catch a glimpse of the Blue Angels at the Pease Airforce Base. After walking for a while (due to lots of people having the same idea), mommy was very tired so we only stayed for about a 1/2 hour. We got to see the Blue Angels fly overhead and had a relaxing time watching them!

Dentist!

Evan and mommy had dentist appts today for cleanings. Evan did an absolute FANTASTIC job the whole time!! He went once when he was 2 yrs old and he was great then as well. Dr. Ramos taught Evan how to brush his teeth real well. He counted 20 teeth and said they were really healthy!

Monkey Joes

Yesterday we went to Danvers, MA to a place called Monkey Joes which is an indoor bouncy house place. We rode with Andrea and Liv and we met up with Katie and Nathan there! All the kids had a blast for almost 2 hrs running and jumping around!
Afterwards, Andrea, Liv, Evan, and mommy went to one of Andrea's childhood memories...Putnam's Pantry to make our own ice cream sundae! Evan and mommy shared a mocha chip sundae loaded with hot fudge, whip cream, marshmallow, jimmies, and oreos! Yum!

Big change...making room for baby girl

We switched rooms with Evan this weekend resulting in a bigger room for him......so he can share a room with his sister when she arrives! We figured we would do it now so it will be ready for her arrival and for Evan to get used to the idea....

Great night for a ride

This afternoon we went to grandpa's house on the pond and took a boat ride with him, Katie, Jeremy, and Nathan! It was Evan's first time on a boat and he loved it! He even got to help grandpa drive it!

34 weeks

Here is mommy at 34 weeks pregnant. Home stretch...hopefully! Since Evan was born at 38 weeks, mommy is hoping it will be about that for Elizabeth too! With mostly sleepless nights and a very achy and sore body...38 weeks still seems very far away! Elizabeth is moving constantly and there is no more room in there! We are pretty much ready for her arrival...and we are switching bedrooms with Evan this weekend! Should be interesting! Stay tuned....

Clarks Trading Post

Today we ventured to Lincoln, NH to Clarks Trading Post. Daddy never went as a kid and mommy had gone when she was younger so we wanted to take Evan. We enjoyed a train ride even though Evan was a bit nervous on the train because of the "wolfman" chasing the train. We were told it might be a little scary but all in all, he did really well.
We also enjoyed a great bear show which is what Clarks is famous for. The cubs were born in January and the older ear did many tricks for us to see! It was exciting!
We had to leave a bit on the earlier side as mommy's feet and fingers were swelling up but it was a great day!

Great Beach/Great Friends!

What a FABULOUS beach day!!! We packed up and spent the WHOLE day at Salisbury Beach with mommy and daddy's best friends from highschool....Todd, Amanda, and Mike. Of course baby Brayden was there too! We had such a nice time in the sun and sand and of course eating good food afterwards. Evan was so exhausted and very mad at us when we gave him a quick bath before bed since it was past his bedtime!

Jumping Madness

This past Fri night, daddy got out of work and met mommy and Evan at Keith and Shannon's house for dinner. Evan had so much fun on the big trampoline out back. Keith got on after daddy to show Evan his flip moves! To end the night, Evan sat by the fire to roast marshmallows! Can't wait to do it again!

Happy 3rd Birthday Evan!

Yesterday was Evan's 3rd Birthday! Happy Birthday buddy!! His obsession with Toy Story was in full bloom at his party for sure! Everything from stickers & balloons to a TS3 sprinkler and pez dispensers! Who doesn't remember Pez dispensers??
Anyways...a few of his friends came to join the family for a great birthday party! It was perfect weather for a great day!
Andrea made an awesome Rocket TS3 birthday cake that everyone was amazed by. It was such a shame to cut into it but it had to be eaten...mmmmm yummy!
Evan was bombarded with Toy Story toys & games! He is very happily enjoying his toys this morning!
Thanks everyone for making his birthday so special!! It will be his last birthday as an "only" child!
